New York

These are some pics I took while visiting New York. A warm day, with a clear blue sky meant most photographs ended up having pretty high contrast which I had to tone down during post processing to reduce pitch-black shadows and overblown highlights.

These first ones are all from Central Park.

After Central Park and lunch, we went over to lower Manhattan. This first one is an interesting sculpture in Silverstein Family Park, adjacent to the 911 Memorial site.

These are from the Esplanade which overlooks New Jersey.

  1. Love the horse and carriage photo. It’s beautiful! My grandfather drove a horse and buggy around Central Park many years ago.

Thanks! You should take a ride on it sometime. Looks like a great way to check out Central Park.

      1. I don’t remember ever taking a ride around Central Park when I lived in NY, but I did take a horse and carriage ride around downtown Indianapolis. It’s a nice experience.
